The Rangreet Art Festival, organized by Jawahar Kala Kendra in collaboration with Rangreet Sansthan, concluded on Sunday. The festival, coordinated by Vedic painter Ramu Ramdev, showcased the elegance of traditional paintings. Hon’ble Deputy CM Diya Kumari attended the exhibition and appreciated the artworks created with natural colors, encouraging the artists.

During the event, Additional Director General (ADG) Alka Meena, Senior Accounts Officer Bindu Bhoharia, and other administrative officials were present along with a large number of artists and art enthusiasts. ADG Alka Meena and Ramu Ramdev welcomed Deputy CM Diya Kumari with bouquets.

Upon entering the Alankar Gallery, Deputy CM Diya Kumari paid homage to Goddess Saraswati and lit a lamp. She also created a painting on canvas using colors. She reviewed the paintings of various artists, including Samdar Singh Khangarot, Govind Ramdev, Ramu Ramdev, Mahavir Swami from Bikaner, Sudhir Verma from Jaipur, Sail Choyal from Udaipur, Ram Jaiswal from Ajmer, Sumitra Ahlawat from Delhi, Mandeep Sharma from Udaipur, and Vikram Singh Rathore from Jaipur, and learned about natural colors.

ADG Alka Meena honored Deputy CM Diya Kumari by presenting her with a dupatta and a JKK publication. Deputy CM Diya Kumari praised the successful organization of the Rangreet Art Festival, thanking Jawahar Kala Kendra, Rangreet Sansthan, and coordinator Ramu Ramdev. She emphasized the importance of such centers in Rajasthan where artists can showcase their work and mentioned that similar events will be organized in the future to preserve traditional arts and promote them among the new generation.

ADG Alka Meena stated that the Rangreet Art Festival was organized from May 2 to May 18, successfully preserving and promoting traditional arts under Deputy CM Diya Kumari’s vision. The festival featured senior art gurus guiding young artists in traditional painting, along with music and dance performances, making the event special.
