Although Giriraj Singh ji wasn’t my biological brother, he was more than that to me. We shared a deep bond, both familial and friendly. His father, my Babosa, and my father, his Kakosa, had a close relationship, and Giriraj ji spent much of his childhood at my home. Ramendra ji shared his insights with Jaipur Explore magazine.

Giriraj Singh ji was an exceptional individual – a dedicated service provider who wasn’t afraid to roll up his sleeves. He’d take on any task, no matter how small, and was always willing to lend a hand. His passion for social work, particularly with the Rajput Sabha, was inspiring. He devoted himself fully to the organization, often working late into the night.

Education was close to his heart, especially for women. He established institutes and worked tirelessly to promote learning. Giriraj ji was also a patron of various organizations, attending hospital camps and vaccination programs. His love for travel and desire to visit China were evident, but sadly, he left us too soon.

One of his most remarkable qualities was his emphasis on labor. He believed in working hard and leading by example. Giriraj ji would often work in the fields and encourage everyone, including children, to contribute. His dedication to creating history, rather than relying on past achievements, continues to inspire me.
