I had the privilege of knowing Late Giriraj Singh Ji Lotwara, the former president of “Rajput Sabha Jaipur,” and was deeply impressed by his collective leadership and parental behavior. Whether it was convening meetings to reflect on the current direction and condition of society or uniting all Rajput social organizations and fearlessly protesting against oppressive state governments, Late Lotwara was unparalleled.
A Leader of Unification
I had the opportunity to work with him during the Anandpal movement, and I witnessed how various Rajput organizations, including Shri Kshatriya Yuvak Sangh, Shri Bhavani Niketan Educational Institute, Shri Rajput Karni Sena, and Rashtriya Karni Sena, came together under his non-controversial leadership. His ability to unite these organizations was truly remarkable.
A Serious and Honest Leader
Late Giriraj Singh Ji Lotwara was a serious and honest leader who left a lasting impact on those who knew him. His creative approach to leadership and his commitment to the Rajput society were inspiring. I was often tasked with drafting press notes for him, and I was impressed by his vision and leadership.
A Loss to the Community
The news of his demise during the pandemic was shocking and traumatic. It was a significant loss to the Rajput community, and his passing has left a void that cannot be filled. Despite his passing, his memory and legacy continue to inspire us.
