On September 5, 2024, Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur, hosted the Shakthi Vandana 2.0 program, organized by the Greater Nagar Nigam, Jaipur. The event aimed to empower women and provide a platform for them to raise their voices against injustice.
The program began with the lighting of the lamp by Principal Dr. Seema Agrawal, Mayor Dr. Soumya Gurjar, Chairperson of the Women and Child Development Committee Meenakshi Sharma, and Additional SP Renu Sharma. Motivational speaker Ankit Khandelwal set the tone for the event with the powerful slogan “Let’s eradicate injustice, let’s raise our voices.”
Principal Dr. Seema Agrawal welcomed the guests and emphasized the significance of such programs in today’s society. Mayor Dr. Soumya Gurjar inaugurated the Pink Peti initiative, which allows women to submit their complaints in specially designed boxes to be placed in 500 schools and colleges across the city.
The Shakthi Vandana program is a testament to the collective effort towards creating a safer and more supportive environment for women. By providing a platform for them to speak out against injustice, we can work towards a more equitable society.
