The Jaipur Theatre festival was established in 2001 by 3m dots. Theater group has staged about 150 full house performance of different story. It deals with a vision of creating a festival of soil, which enrich the cultural, real-life and creative spirit of people and also to provide a platform for the artists, individual or group of people for the flowering of their human spirit. It is an NGO solely dedicated for promotion of art culture and theatre in India.

In the year of 2012,Jaipur theatre festival was re-christened as Jairangam and it is a cross interaction platform between the regional, national and international level of amateurs, performers, actors, directors, story tellers, scriptwriters, technicians, artists, etc. where they exchange their values, expertise, professionalism, learning, experiments with a wide open relevant world to take their form of art and exposure to the next level as per the global standards. It is a community celebration that involves arts, drama, excitement, play and beautiful colors of culture. You can say that it is a multicolored of music, dance, theatre, literature, street stall, films, play, workshops for adult & children, visual art, heritage and the list goes on.The main part of the festival is, seven days refresh your mind and soul and it is free of cost for everyone.Seven refresh day start from 3rd December to 10th of December 2017.

There are a lot of theatre such as Joke, Chakravyuh, Gaghan Damama Bajyo, Maaynay Gambhir Honay ke, Netua, Natsamrat, Inhe Dekhna Hai Khaihin, Sari Raat, Apne Apne Daon, Agni Aur Barkha, Khidki, Shayar Shutter, Dard Ka Ek Dariya, Sankraman.

The festival prides itself on having collaborated with undiscovered, emerging and established playwrights. Jairangam focus on new work also which will reappraise jaipur’s exciting repertoire of plays with today’s audience. Although it is an annual national theatre festival consists of mainstream theatre activities from all over India. Hope this year the festival will showcase some fabulous plays.
