‘The Growing Stars’ celebrated Diwali with their kids.From darkness to the light that empowers us to commit ourselves to good deeds, that which brings us closer to divinity; lights illuminate every corner of India during Diwali and the scent of incense sticks hang in the air, mingled with the sounds of fire-crackers, joy, togetherness and hope. The celebration began with a small skit depicting the story of Ramayan.  It told the audience the that Diwali is celebrated  to welcome Princes Ram, Laxman and Ram’s wife Sita back to their kingdom Ayodhya after Ram put an end to the evil force of Ravan.  People of Ayodhya welcomed them by lighting hundreds of diyas which dispelled the darkness of night.  Diwali or Dipawali literally means “Rows of lamps”. Children brought sweets and exchanged them with each other. The respective teachers organised games, songs and dances which the children thoroughly enjoyed. The children were delighted by their presence.
The celebration of Diwali ,’The festival of lights’ came alive at The Growing Stars Coaching centre, Ajmer Road Jaipur on the 30th of October when the whole coaching wore a festive look with Diyas and lanterns adorning the classes in bright colours.  Gazal Mam began the celebration on the auspicious occasion. Students talked about the significance of the festival – how good always conquered the evil . Besides sensitising students to the ill-effects of crackers, they also shared the guidelines on being safe while bursting them. The celebration concluded with Gazal  Ma’am giving away the message of a clean, peaceful and a bright Diwali.
Kids enjoyed themselves by singing songs, tuning themselves to dance, Burned Crackers and shared sweets among themselves.The students then went back to their home.Thus, the celebration ended happily.
