Gagan Kumar is a designer born in Odisha and now creating wonders in garment design field. Gagan studied designing from J D Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi. After finishing his fashion designing studies he got settled in Mumbai. The trend, glamour, Beauty and make somebody happy with the beautiful outfit for her/his special day- really whom you don’t know personally, still you try hard to make them look gorgeous made Gagan inspire towards design field.
Gagan loves to design outfits of bright colour with work of zari and sequence, which are basically inspired from Rajputana collection and says hits his speciality. Gagan also use drape, zari with sequence makes the outfit look grand using rich fabrics like satin, broked, cotton silk, raw silk, pure silk, sambalpuri silk (being from Odhisa he prefer this material). Gagan kumar has been designing garments for a lots of regional films and has designed couture garment for many celebrities like Sushmita Sen, Anil Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, mink brar, Koena Mitra, Tina Dutta, Sameera reddy, Rashmi Desai, Anita Hansnadani, Mrunal jain, Manasvi mamgai, Sana Saeed, Pooja Chopra, Prachi Mishra and many more supermodels.
Gagan showcased his collection for the first time in Mathura with a jewellery show. Then he showcased his collection at Fashion show for Akshay Prathisthan – NGO for Blind Students; Fashion shows with Fashion Director – Shie Lobo in Mathura (Jewelry Show), Delhi (AIHBA) & Jaipur (L’Oreal), Muzzafar Nagar as celebrity designer with Sara Khan for Shri Ram institute of medical and technology, guest designer at PIFT Udaipur 2014,2015 and 2016, for Loreal 2014, 2015 in Jaipur, wedding times Fashion Fiesta Nasik 2015 with Prachi Mishra, wedding times fashion fiesta Pune 2014, 2015 and 2016, Santoor Annual Award show with Sunny Leone Nagpur 2015 and 2016, India Glam Fashion week 2015 With Kalpika Ganesh & Swati Dixit, Globoil 2015 with Teena Dutta, Rashmi Desai and Mrunal Jain. In Mumbai, Globoil 2016 with Sushmita Sen Goa, Bally’s Fashion week 2016 with Anil Kapoor and Raveena Tandon at Sri Lanka to name a few. As mentioned he worked with many celebrities.
