“I’m humbled to share my memories of the late Shri Giriraj Singh Ji Lotwara, a kind-hearted and affable individual who left an indelible mark on those who knew him. As President of Rajput Sabha Jaipur, he would often invite me to his office. I had the privilege of meeting him several times, including a courtesy visit with Director PP Parshar of Desert Calling at his residence in Mansavdar, Jaipur, where we discussed potential TV projects.
In 2016, I had the opportunity to visit his native village, Lotwad, along with him and others. We traveled in his car and were struck by the lush greenery and vibrant fields during the monsoon season. While discussing various topics like politics, cinema, sports, and theater, I was fascinated by his rustic charm.
During our visit, I noticed that some rooms on the terrace of his ancestral home lacked roofs. When I asked him about this, he explained that he enjoyed spending time in these open spaces with family and friends, savoring the natural ambiance and fresh air.
Sadly, Shri Giriraj Singh Ji Lotwara left us far too soon during the COVID-19 pandemic. Even today, it feels surreal. Through sharing these memories, I hope to keep his spirit alive.” – Dr. Chandradeep Hada (as shared with Jaipur Explore)
