It has been told in the letter that the advertisement rates have not been increased for the last 8 years, while the cost of printing newspapers and the economic problems of journalists have increased manifold. In the letter, it has been demanded that not only should the advertisement rates be made at par with the rates and scales of DAVP, but in addition to the circulation, points like page number, periodicity and single or multicolor should also be taken care of while fixing the advertisement rates. It has been said in the letter that the Congress party had included the matter of ‘Journalist Protection Act’ in its election manifesto, despite this, till date this law has not been implemented, so the Congress government promised in its manifesto. complete it. Founder President of Satpaksha Patrakar Manch, Anil Yadav said that the matter of ‘Journalist Awas Yojana’ is stuck for years, the Chief Minister has left the matter to the committee, but the right to convene the committee meeting is not with the journalists but with the DIPR.
