One such beautiful and powerful temple is the Brahmani mataji temple in Baran.
This amazing peaceful yet powerful temple is located 20 kms away from Baran in Sorsan village. This place is a well-known one and very well taken by the residents of the plave as well as people from nearby places. Inside a cave, the statue of Mata Brahmani is situated under a large natural rock which is a center of attraction for the devotees.
It is said that inside the temple, a special oil lamp, i.e, the ‘Akhand Jyoti’ has been continuously burning from the last 400 years. A fair is organized on a scale scale inside the temple premises on the occasion of Shiv Ratri every year. According to facts, this temple is said to be almost 800 years old and a Brahmin family is said to take care of the temple in ancient times.
