The Jag Mandir Palace situated in Kota is a perfect example of what royalty looks like. It is a red stone monument which lies in the middle of the beautiful Kishore Sagar Talab (KST). Red stone, marbles and Yellowstone are used in the construction of this grand and mesmerizing palace. This three storied palace is constructed and designed with the grandeur of Rajput architectural style.

The Jag Mandir Palace is located on an island in the Kishore Sagar Talab. One can reach the palace through boats and ferries which are available throughout the day for the tourists. While enjoying boating, tourists also get to see the marvelous view of the palace in the clear waters of the lake.

The construction of the Jag Mandir Palace was said to be started in the year 1551 and completed in 1745 by a queen of Kota. The whole structure of this palace has been built with some specific purpose. It includes the Gul Mahal, four carved elephants on either sides of the entrance, the Zenana Mahal, Bara Patharon ka Mahal, the Garden Courtyard and much more.

The architecture and style of the palace is very unique and extremely beautiful. Once can really enjoy the beauty of this place along with the great sense of styling and designing. In the vicinity of the Jag Mandir Palace lies the amazing Seven Wonders Park which is already a very popular tourist spot of Kota.
