PRIYANKA RATHORE, SELF ARTIST OF JODHPUR
Priyanka Rathore, who belongs to Borunda in Jodhpur. Later she moved to Jodhpur. She completed her schooling and College from Jaisalmer. She is doing Art & Creativity for 10-12 years and she was interested in Art since childhood. She does not take professional training. She is a self-Artist and just loves to play with Acrylic on Canvas. Her First show was in IHC (India Habitat Centre), New Delhi and the response was very good and appreciative. This is her second solo show in Jaipur and She creates to prefer solo only because there’s complete focus on an artist and have freedom, arrange work accordingly and the work remains in balance. Basically, her Paintings inspired by the Rajput School of Paintings and want to take the Rajput School to the worldwide.(It’s not a School; it’s a stream or Rajput Era). The Rajput Painting refers to an artist used to make the portrait for Raja and Maharaja like include Kishangarh Style, Pahadi Style, and Kota Style etc.
She said that the art Depict not from one style but with what she likes. Making Rajput art looks very entrenched and their colours are so vibrant that’s why I make this art.
She has small kids so she makes art at home only. She is planning to present her Art in Foreign. All their paintings are very close to her.She tries to make two to three paintings at one time.
She likes to throw that thing into painting in what she likes. Such paintings are Radha Krishna, Behind the Scene, Old World Charm, Power & Pride, Love Saga, Free Soul, Almighty, Happiness, Time Together, Knight-Ridder, The Dragonfly, Stolen Moments, Colors of Life, Shreenath Ji, Satyug and Solitude with 36×36 inches frame. She is very happy with her work and her family too.
