Rajasthan Government appointed Rehana Rayaz Chisti as president of Rajasthan Mahila aayog. On the recommendation of a selection committee, Congress general secretary of the All India Congress Committee Ajay Makan and Rajasthan Government appointed her.
Ms. Chishti, has been active in the front organisations of Congress, such as Seva Dal and Youth Congress, for several years and has been serving as the Pradesh Congress Committee’s general secretary since 2014. Originally hailing from Kerala, she migrated to Rajasthan at the age of 19 years and she presently resides in Churu.
