National Photography Exhibition by Kathago in Government Dungar College

A national level photography exhibition named ‘Prismatic’ is going to be inaugurated in Government Dungar College, Bikaner. The college is known to be the largest in Bikaner division and the exhibition will be in the Pratap auditorium from 2 to 4 November.

Principal Dr G P Singh said that the chief guest in the inaugural ceremony of the exhibition will be Inspector General of BSF Mr Pushpendra Singh Rathod and Mrs Ambika Rathore. Other dignitary attending the exhibition as a guest will be the principal of Maharani Sudarshana College for women, Sr Vijayshree. He further stated that Dr Rajendra Purohit has been appointed as the coordinator and Dr Sonu Shiva and Dr Narendra Kumar have been appointed as organizers for the exhibition. Dr Singh says that this kind of unique exhibition will provide an opportunity to the youth to know more about photographs related to Rajasthan. He has also appealed that students should participate in large numbers in this exhibition.

Organizing Secretary Dr Avinash Jodha said that this exhibition organized under auspices of an organization Kathago will present and depict the art and culture of Rajasthan through photographs.  He told that internationally Rajasthan is being represent mostly through desert palaces and traditional artists dressed up in costumes with camels and horses. Rather in this exhibition, Rajasthan will be presented through not only its beauty but the difficulties and struggles for survival, through some really amazing photographs.

Organizer Dr Sonu Shiva told that the English language lab and painting department are organizing this exhibition in collaboration. According to Dr Sonu, a large number of students from various colleges have been participating in this exhibition.
